21st Annual SPBC Intergroup Gratitude Dinner. 6pm - 10pm. Embassy Suites 661 NW 53 Street, Boca Raton (561) 994-8200. There will be 450 tickets at $36 each (tables of 10) and will be sold at the September 30th Intergroup Business Meeting.

2010 International Convention of Alcoholics Anonymous – San Antonio Texas. Registration begins Sept 1, 2009 on line – first come/first served – no room lottery. Go to www. aa.org or www.aainplambeach.org. More information in September SCAAN.

FAST FACTS

• Serving Alcoholics 24-hours a day, 365 days a year!

• Volunteers, coordinated through Intergroup, handle 12-Step calls helping those who ask for help.

• Serves 134 Groups in Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, and Lantana – representing 267 meetings a week (as of March ’09).

• Takes AA meetings into Hospitals and Institutions through an H&I Committee and many volunteers.

• Maintains AA meeting schedules published online / in print (“Where & When”).

• Maintains inventory of AA literature, pamphlets, medallions, plus other items.

• Publishes monthly newsletter (SCAAN).

• Coordinates two 36-hour Alcathons, supported by many groups.
